Brian joined First 5 Merced County in May 2007, coming from First 5 Fresno County where he worked 5 years on strategic planning, evaluation, program development and funding allocations. Prior to this, Brian worked in Fresno’s non–profit sector for 5 years after receiving a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina.

Brian is married with two inquisitive sons. Fishing and travel are his passions, along with seeing the world through the eyes of his children.
