Myisha has been with First 5 Merced County since October 2006. She coordinates,
monitors and provides technical assistance to First 5 funded providers.
Myisha earned her Bachelor's degree in Science and Technology Studies from the University
of California, Davis and is currently working on a Master's of Public Health in
Health Education at the University of Washington. She has an interest in ethnic
diversity and underserved populations, particularly where they intersect with health.
Prior to coming to work in Merced, she directed a federally funded research project
exploring the use of assistive technology at the California Foundation for Independent
Living Centers (Sacramento) and co authored a number of publications .
She enjoys being amazed and entertained by her preschool age daughter and sharing
the stories with others.
